Liverpool choir give thumbs up to innovative Burton business

Celebrity Liverpool choir – LMA Choir – have given the thumbs up to an innovative Vegan snack kit – the first of its kind in the UK – as they help to fuel their latest ventures.
Members of this year’s LMA choir – based in Liverpool who rose to fame after becoming a You Tube sensation with their singing city flash mob – have given a thumbs up to Burton business after falling in love with the healthy new snack kits.
Sam Conlan, who sent a series of messages through Instagram calling on fans to ‘do me a favour give @energyballrecipes a follow’, said: “We were really touched to receive the snacks from Victoria at EnergyBallRecipes. They are a great idea and when I received the pack I just knew it was something I would have to try.”
Steph Carr, creative director at LMA Choir and a vegetarian herself, said: “I have never come across something like EnergyBallRecipes before and I think we were all quite touched on how an independent company had thought of something which would keep us energised while on the go. I am really proud to be able to support British companies out there making a difference and coming up with such fantastic innovative ideas.”
Victoria sent packs to the choir as a way of helping with their busy days rehearsing and was pleasantly surprised by their reaction.
The pair have now kept in touch and are continuing to receive the nutrition infused small bites as they embark on their upcoming events.
Victoria Prince, who owns and develops each recipe herself, came up with the idea after seeing a gap the market for healthy, affordable, easy to make snacks. She said: “I sent the packs as I thought they might be a nice way of helping to keep the choir fuelled in between busy schedules. I was really pleased to hear that they found them useful. As a compact bite sized ball of nutrients they are a perfect healthy snack option when on the go.”
Victoria Prince, who grew up in Uttoxeter and has a development kitchen in Ellastone, launched in the summer. The first Vegan snack box of its kind in the UK it provides the exact ingredients to make 30 healthy non-bake energy balls at home.
Packed with nutritious ingredients they are perfect for busy people on the go in lunch boxes, while training or while commuting and can be stored in the fridge for up to 7 days.

The LMA choir is made up of students from the current music and musical theatre courses as well as recent graduates at the specialist college and university centre – LMA – based in the heart of Liverpool.
The choir was first formed in 2016 as a surprise flash mob and in answer to a request from Steph’s friend Carl Gilbertson, who wanted to declare his love for his wife Laura on their 10th anniversary.
The flash mob appeared at Liverpool ONE singing Bruno Mars’ Just The Way You Are, a performance that not only reduced Laura to tears but also became a You Tube sensation.
