Alexander Accountancy, the Burton-based firm that won a special commendation in the People’s Business Awards for its community service, is having a busy start to 2018.
The company has gained the status of accredited Xero Partners, meaning its team is well-placed to help those needing to prepare for Making Tax Digital. From April 2019, most businesses with a turnover above the VAT threshold will be expected to submit digital quarterly reports, so any businesses using manual systems need to review how they are going to comply with the digital requirement.
Alexander’s Business Club is back on Wednesday March 21 with part 2 of Transform Your Business in less than a year. Places are limited but can be booked here.
Local landlords may also be interested to know that Alexander Accountancy is taking part in a free event at the National Brewery Centre, Burton on Trent, on April 11. If you have invested, or are planning to invest in property, then you need to be aware of the changing environment and how this may affect you. Read more, and book your place, here.
