A new business networking group is launching in Burton this month with the aim of making your mornings more inspiring and productive.
The Burton Business Wellbeing Hub is a collaboration between local entrepreneur Monica Douglas-Clark and The Trinity and it aims to kick start your week in a positive way with a Monday morning business breakfast each month.
Monica says this will be a ‘no-pressure’ business networking event. During each session, Monica and/or other guest experts will provide you with practical business wellbeing tips, discussion points and actions steps so that you can set goals and get accountability for your wellbeing for the following month.
The first event takes place on Monday February 26, and the theme will be The Miracle Morning: How to sleep better and use the morning hours to boost your business performance.
The event will run from 7.15 – 8.45 am. Monica says: “Arrive when you can. It’ll still be worth it if you turn up at 8 am! Feel free to stay and network after the session has formally finished.” Tickets cost £10 and only a limited number remain. Visit the Eventbrite Page to find out more and book.
Sessions are also planned for March 26 and April 23. Early bird tickets costing £7.50 are available for up to 21 days before each of these events.
Your ticket price will include a tasty, healthy breakfast, a hot drink and opportunities to make new contacts to grow your business.
At March’s breakfast meeting, the theme will be emotions, relationships and resilience: How to keep the business running when you’re dealing with the emotional pressure that comes with change, loss and transformation.
In April the event will focus on mindfulness, meditation and the clear-thinking business owner: Are meditation and mindfulness techniques useful for every business owner? What’s your experience, what other options are there?
Everyone is encouraged to bring along business cards, an open mind and a willingness to speak to people you don’t know about your business, who you are and the customers you serve.
